Dragons Battle Blue Ridge

By raider43

The Dragons battled arch rival Blue Ridge to a 1 -1 tie. These two schools have played 7 times in the last two years, including two conference championship games. Each game has been close and often been decided in the last few minutes. The Dragons broke on top with a quick score. Joe Peluso laced a shot 5 minutes into the match on a pass from Rusty Montgomery.
With less then 10 minutes to go in the match Blue Ridge answered.

Montgomery, Mike Renzi and Elliott Smallwood were turned away on scoring chances as Blue Ridge scrambled to hold on. Bung ju Lee and Robbie Taylor anchored the solid Dragon defense.
