Douglass graduates come together after 50 years

The Douglass High School class of 1958 celebrated its 50th year reunion July 11 at the Amphora Deluxe Diner in Herndon.

Fifteen classmates and guests celebrated together with a dinner and remembrance program.

Former teacher at Douglass, Ruth Cravens, was the special guest.

On July 12, the Douglass Alumni Association held its annual picnic and presented the 20 surviving members of the class of 1958 with 50th year commemorative plaques.

The class of 1958 presented the alumni with a donation for the scholarship program.
