Church homecoming, summer gospel concert, high school reunion and news, news, news

Church Homecoming: Mount Olive Baptist Church of Lincoln will be celebrating its Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 3 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Lawrence Wilson Jr. of Rippon Baptist Church of Rippon, W.Va. Lunch will be served following the morning service at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Summer Gospel Concert: The Youth Ministry of Second Mount Olive Baptist Church of Hamilton will sponsor a summer gospel concert – Summer Songs of Northern Virginia Gospel Singers. The concert will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, at 4 pm at the Purcellville Carver Center located at 200 Willie Palmer Way. The Youth Ministry will perform featuring Master Moses Freedom on drums, along with the Golden Tones, the Spiritual Harmonizers, the Heavenly Gospel Choir and the Praise Team of Middleburg.
