Librarian's work published

Michele Rzewski Copeland, the librarian at Potowmack Elementary, has had an article she wrote accepted for inclusion in Randi Stone's new book, "Best Practices for Teaching Reading."

Her article describes Potowmack's summer reading program.

"It's very encouraging to see the work of a librarian in a book about reading practices," said David Jones, Loudoun County Public Schools Supervisor of Library Media Services. "It definitely emphasizes the connection between effective school library programs and student success in reading."
