Goose Route Festival: The eighth annual Goose Route Dance Festival is set for July 10-20. Most events will take place at the War Memorial Building, 102 E. German St., Shepherdstown, W.Va. Tickets range from $10 to $15, depending on the event and the day.

This year's artists are Megan Mazarick (Philadelphia); Heather Ahern (Morgantown, W.Va.); Cara Hagan (Winston Salem, N.C.); Sweetie Pie Productions (Boulder, Colo.); Karen Schupp (Phoenix); Courtney Greer, Carson Efird, and Katherine Kiefer Stark (Raleigh, N.C.); Guta Hedewig Dance (New York); and Kitty Clark (Shepherdstown, W.Va.).
